What is Platinum Adventures? 

Have you turned the big 5-0?  Are you ready to enjoy what life has to offer?  If so, Platinum Adventures is for you!  Platinum Adventures Travel and Social Club was designed for our customers, like you who choose to experience the "very best" in all that they do!  There is no cost to be a member, as long as you maintain $5,000.00 in deposits at the bank with an active checking account.

We are offering several day trips, as well as domestic and international tours!  This is a unique program that is customized to make sure that we go to places that you want to go to.  You can have an active voice in the direction that the club takes by making your requests known to us. 

Kay Olivo, director of Platinum Adventures, is looking forward to making this club a success.  Kay is an experienced personal banker who will be able to assist you with your financial needs as well as plan a great vacation for you in 2008!  "We want to make sure that all of the trips that we plan are customer picks, not a cookie-cutter list of travel options you get with other clubs.  The sky is the limit for us and we want to hear from you!" Kay stated at a recent Bank Open House.  "I am very excited to work with everyone!"

July 22 - Laughter is the Best Medicine!

Dr. Richard Bimler, PhD, from the Speakers Bureau of the Lutheran Home and Services will talk about humor and aging. Warning: Be prepared to laugh!  There is no cost for this event.  It will be at our Main Banking Center located at 234 W. Northwest Highway starting at 3:00 p.m.

August 1 - Debbie Reynolds at Drury Lane

Debbie weaves storytelling, songs, movie clips, bloopers and impressions into a delightful montage of her long career.  Registration deadline is July 7th.  The cost of this event is $89.00 per person.  We depart from Faith Lutheran Church at 10:45 a.m.

August 5-7 - Lake Michigan Ferry and Blueberry Harvest Trip

Board the SS Badger Car Ferry for a four-hour cruise.  Travel to Manitowoc, WI to Ludington, MI for a fun filled summer excursion.  The trip includes transportation, hotel, 6 meals, a pail of blueberries and other attractions.  The cost of this event is $659.00 / per person / double occupancy, $789.00 for single.

August 23 - What is behind your Credit Score? Seminar

With this informative seminar presented by Steve Calcari, Village Bank and Trust's Mortgage Lender, find out how your  FICO score is calculated and utilized.  Refreshments will be served.  There is no cost for this event.  It will be at our Main Banking Center located at 234 W. Northwest Highway starting at 9:30 a.m.
